It does a great job of heating with the air gun. And the soldering iron works perfectly. I'm even including the extra soldering iron tips and element that I have for it, plus some small nozzles for the hot air gun. I used this for working on Xbox 360's, and it gets the job done quick. USED Hot Air Reflow SMD Rework Station from NU-Concept. HART 200 A provides a hot air to both the top and bottom on the PCB at the same time. Two stainless steel tubes. One on the top and one on the bottom, can be independently positioned to deliver the hot air to the exact spot on the PCB. The temperature of each hot air flow is also independently adjusted so no overheating or scorching of the pcb will occur. Eithe tube can be fitted with an air choke(see the pictures showing round plates with different aperture shapes in the center) to accomodate for the shape and size of a components. The chokes can be removed completely and this will allow for heating of broad area of the PCB. The AC motor delivers constant flow of the air to both sides of the PCB but you can retract one of the tubes and direct the air flow just to one side. After the ... moreparts on the PCB are removed or replaced. The toggle switch allows to change to the cooling mode and gradually lower the temperature of the PCB to avoid thermal stress and mechanical deformation of the PCB and prevent cracks of the solder joints. The PCB is firmly positioned in a special holder and can be easily moved while working on several components at the time. Even a very large PCB can be mounted in the holder. The simple user instruction is printed on the plate located at the base and will help to set up the right temperature if the operator is not familiar with the process. However. The machine is very easy and intuitive to use and require only the basic knowledge of the reflow process.
