A very good quality mint sterling silver napkin clip. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 2003 with the maker’s marks being RC for Carr’s of Sheffield Ltd. It is in a traditional shield design and the cartouche is free from any inscription. Lovely antique what I'm thinking is Egyptian cut crystal& Sterling Silver decanter w/ petite matching glasses. My client's father was from Egypt- I've listed a number of pieces of Sterling these last couple of months all coming out of this estate- and correct me if I'm wrong once you've previewed the mark- it is a sort of knife/sword over the letters"EC" from what I can tell and on the other side there is a small"C" The decanter is just gorgeous- forgive me/the photos as I washed it and what you see is just the water inside as it hadn't dried yet: It is cut crystal w/ floral etchings. Presented is a fine silver filigree box done in a sort of vinaigrette style. The round box is composed of intricate wires topped with bead and rope twist accents. The hinged cover snaps securely shut. I believe the box to be Middle Eastern in origin. It is hard to give an exact age. It was most likely made in the early 1900s. The box is not marked. Tested and guaranteed to be at least 800 purity silver. The condition is excellent. The filigree work is in great shape. There are no dents. No splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
