This is a vintage silverplate flatware set from 1951. It is a"King Edward" exquisite silverplate set that was made by the National Silver Company. Set is a service for 8 and includes 49pcs. It originally had 53pc and I am unsure what serving pieces are missing. Included in this anti-tarnish chest are 8 dinner forks. 8 salad forks, 8 teaspoons, 8 soup spoons, 8 dinner knives, 2 large tablespoons, sugar spoon, ladle and butter knife. Forgive me if I did not identify them correctly. All pieces are marked King Edward Silverplate except for the dinner knives which are marked N.S. CO Stainless but are the exact patern. Flatware has very slight tarnish and will need to be lightly cleaned. The box measures 17" x 12" x 3 1/2" and as seen in the pictures has several scratches from being moved around over the years. This elegant Victorian sterling silver mustard pot was made by Barnet Henry Joseph in Birmingham 1897. Both the silver and the blue glass liner are in very good condition. The lid closes fully and the double scroll handle is securely fixed. It stands on four feet and sits firmly. Hallmarks to the base are partially rubbed but very clear on the lid. It is made of a good gauge of silver with a very solid feel. An attractive silver mustard pot which clearly has had very little use. This item is an old ca. 1900 very ornate 4-1/4inch long sterling silver sardine fork. From a maker that we cannot identify, with the fork in excellent overall lightly used condition. Fork has some wear on the original gold wash, but there are essentially no other flaws. No monograms, no bent tines, no significant wear, nor are there any other significant flaws. Fork is back marked with STERLING, but there is no makers hallmark, so we cannot identify the maker or the patter. Vintage Silver divided service tray with Lid and Hallmarks

Once again here is another piece, I have been able to find the hallmarks online but not locate the make, but then again this is not in my area of knowledge, this is part of my fathers silver collection that he had in the closet I received when he passed. This is a divided tray with lid, it is very ornate and beautiful, I just have no real use for them I do not know if it is solid or plate it is however very heavy and measures 12" Long by 9" Wide and 4" with out hand and 6.5" with. As I stated it has 3 dings that I could find, and seems to be a very rare piece and everything that I am listing is from his first marriage back in the 1940's so there is no telling since at that point in his life he was part of a social elite. The tray is in very good condition for its age. With some light surface scratches. No dents or major post manufacturing defects. This rimmed/lipped tray is simple in design, and sits securely and evenly on the table upon three bordered feet. The rim and feet are soldered onto the body of the tray which, along with the"feel" and weight of the piece and slight surface imperfections, indicate an early date of manufacture for this piece. Vintage Silver Plate* Wm Rogers Eagle& Star* Round Serving Tray Wow. Silver plates are really difficult to take pictures of. I will attempt to give a very detailed description. The plate is 10 3/8 inches across. The slightly raised design on the top of the plate has lots of swirls and some small flowers. The top of the plate is in very good condition with only some very minor scratches which cannot be seen unless the plate is examined at just the right angle. The bottom of the plate has an Eagle. Followed by Wm Rogers, followed by a star. Beneath this is the number 870. There are five noticeable scratches across the bottom of the plate. They are so shallow I cannot feel the groove with my fingertips. There are no dents on the plate. On the outer rim of the plate is a small discolored spot about 1/8th of an inch across. I know all I mentioned ... moreare the slight imperfections. But I want you to know exactly what you are bidding on. The plate is really beautiful and I tried to capture this in the pictures.
