A Bouquet of Flowers circled by green leaves and turquoise triangles with stars. T he tiny"micro"tesserae are millefiore glass rods. Some of five colors. Circling the bouquet are six unfolded Ladies Fans, each of two color glass millefiore rod,white& lavender. Fine Murano Italy glass work typical of the 19th– early 20th century. Rounded brass body with applied twisted rope& swages. In fine condition. Original patina and without dent or damage. Some original gilt remaining at edges of the wirework, but the gold wash has mostly worn away by touch and by time. White dust/material is visible along edges of the applied decorative twisted wire beading consistent with age. With a few words- a small wide-angle lens suited for photojournalism. The build quality of the tiny lens is perfectly fine- there isn't much potential for shaky components here anyway. It is tightly assembled based on high quality plastics for the lens body on top of a metal mount. The lens does not extend during focusing and thanks to its IF(inner focusing" system the front element does not rotate so using a polariser is no problem. In order to show you the tiny size of the lens here's a comparision between the Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 ASPH. That is the amp that these were made to look and sound like. After this run, they started outsourcing them to be made in other countries, they no longer sounded like Zakk Wylde's practice amp of choice. Then they went on to become the stale sounding MG series. So, here's the simple scoop, these are the originals and the best and most collectible. This stack comes with the power cord. But NO, NO, NO speaker cables. Works perfectly, of course and no popping and cracking or static junk. The cabinets each house a singe, 10" Celestion G10D-25 Speakers. Each cabinet is rated at 16 ohms. I'm not sure what the age is on this piece. But it certainly looks like something that grand tour tourists would have brought back in the 1800's. It is a replica of an ancient tile work, as pictured on the front cover of the book that accompanies the mosaic. The overall piece measures approx. 10 inches by 8 5/8 inches. There is a border(looks like slate to me) that is about 9/16 of an inch in width. The mosaic scene is 5 7/8 inches by 4 5/16 inches. On the back is a label that says: STUDIO DEL MOSAICO S. C. della REV. FABBRICA Di S. PIETRO IN VATICANO No. 3074 Tazza con palombe" The damage to the frame is obvious. I don't see any damage to the slate. 1971 Micro-Frets Spacetone Vintage Electric Collector Guitar
This is a One Owner Micro-Frets Spacetone Serial# 2360. Previously owned by Tubby who played in the Rocket City with Carolyn in the mid 70's and 80's. All Original. The finish is black with a off white trim. Comes with the original Hard Shell Case and all the original documentation. This one is not pristine but it is as close as you'll probably find for a 1971 model. That was played and loved by it owner. The following is some information I found about the history of the guitar& company: Ralph S. Jones created the Micro-Frets brand in the 1960's.Ralph was an engineer and introduced some unique features on these original models: The Micro-Frets guitars featured a novel"Micro-Nut" which aimed to compensate for the poor intonation seen on contemporary instruments. You could adjust this nut. They also had a special"Calibrato" ... moretremolo, which was supposed to help keep the strings in tune. Dietzgen Micro-Glide- Model 1734 Decimal Trig Type Log Log Slide Rule. As various slide rule manufacturers tried to one-up each other. Dietzgen get's the prize. I always considered this model to be the Ferrari of slide rules. The design and construction is one of a kind. No other slide rule can match it. It has the normal plastic engine divided white plastic exterior. But rather than laminate it to Bamboo as Post and Hemmi did, they laminated it to hardwood, probably Mahagony. And if that weren't enough, they added plastic inserts to further reduce the friction, hence the name, MicroGlide. And it works too. The slide movement is silky smooth, and after all these years, the wood hasn't warped and the slide rule is still straight and true. You can see the unique construction of the slide rule in the last two pictures. They also ... moreadded small plastic inserts in each corner of the cursor to act as sliding bushings between the cursor and the body of the slide rule. The slide rule is in excellent shape. No dings, or scratches. The cursor is single line, and is clear, not yellowed and free of scratches or rub marks, thanks to the cursor plastic sliding bushings. The end braces show some sort of light corrosion. It looks like they didn't chrome the braces, or make them out of stainless steel. It looks like they might have sprayed some lacquer on them to maintain the brush finish. Seems like the leather reacted with this finish and caused some light corrosion, or perhaps its just a leather stain. The case is black leather and is a 9 out of 10 condition wise. No writing on the flaps. Just a few scuffs, and bumps. The chrome plating on the clasp is bright and shows no corrosion, but does have a few scratches where the latch inserts into the clasp. The slide rule measures 12-5/8" long x 1-3/4 wide at the body. And 2-1/8" at the cursor. Front scales are: LL01[e-0.01x. K, A[ B. T[0.1x. T 45[1.0x. ST[0.01x. S[0.1x] D. DI.
