Empty, that was originally used with the Boraxo Dispense Model 80. You would remove ... morethe top of the can and place it upside down over the disc of the dispenser and push the can into the base until you heard a click. Net weight of the can was 4 3/4 pounds. You could remove either end of the can, that's the reason the graphics appear upside down on one side. There is some rust present on the can, but writing and graphics are visible with most of the rust being inside the can and on the bottom. VINTAGE BORAXO WALL MOUNT POWDER SOAP DISPENSER
Up for auction is a vintage Boraxo wall mount powder soap dispenser. As you can see from pics its in good condition. Original bright white porcelain paint. Lid has some paint chip areas and some rust colored spots but overall does not take away from the dispenser. The inside is nice and clean and there is still some powder soap residue in it. It does have the plunger and it moves up and down like it should. Dispensing the soap. Line up arrow on front of lid with black dot on front of dispenser and lid lifts off and is attached by chain which is also in great condition. Place lid back down and twist back to left and it locks in place. It mounts on a wall by the attached bracket. These are harder to find. Vintage. Porcelain, BORAXO, Soap Dispenser. Photos taken of all sides/angles including inside, etc. There are a few places of wear on the porcelain. For the age, in my opinion, it still looks to be in good, used, vintage condition. Imprinted in the metal piece on top, Made in England and the Pat. Numbers. From the top to bottom, with the lid, it measures approximately 9 1/4 inches and that's measuring to the bottom of the metal piece that dispenses when pushed in.
