These Voile Carbon Surf Backcountry Powder Skis are in Excellent Condition. I picked up these skis last year as new old stock and used them about 15 times on backcountry trips. They still look very new and have no problems. The edges and bottom ptex are super clean. They are a model that is probably 3 or 4 years old. I had them professionally mounted with Voile bindings and fitted with climbing skins. The bindings and skins are still in excellent shape with no problems. The skins fit and work great. These skis are great powder skis, they are fat and soft and turn on a dime. The only reason I am selling them is that I moved on to some new skis and just don't need them any more. Date: London 1926. Maker: C& A for Collett& Anderson- slightly rubbed. Hallmarked on the lid and the base. On the underside of the silver lid is the Registration number 710508. This lovely Bowl has a inner compartment which still retains it's gilding. This would be ones small powder puff container. Maybe for Rouge. The Shell is in excellent condition. There is one small ding to the inside of the inner bowl near the hinge. I do not think that this detracts from this lovely and unusual piece. I have not seen many bowls with the hinged top and separate compartment. Which is in very good working order. The whole top pulls off to reveal the Glass ... morebowl. Star cut to the base. The forged iron shaft is constructed with a narrow and shallow bowl scoop, exactly like the bowl scoop area on a soup spoon. The other end of the shaft is wrapped around a thick wooden handle at the very center of the handle; this design allows the wood handle to evenly distribute any pressure applied to it as the shaft screws down. Above the shallow and narrow scoop bowl, the forged iron shaft is square. Measuring the forged iron shaft from the base of the wooden handle to the tip of the forged iron shaft. Fort Pitt- 3 Rivers Scrimshaw Powder Horn
DESCRIPTION: This beautiful fully engraved Powder Horn commemorating Fort Pitt and the three rivers. Is one of my favorites. Anything with the French and Indian war is some my most reguested powder horns. The top has my favorite Celtic knot band. On the front side there is a plan of Fort Pitt and under the fort I have a little fight scene On Side 2 there is a Plan of Fort Pitt under the fort I have a soldier dressed in one of the typical dress of the period, under the soldier there is an unofficial emblem of the French& Indian war. I picked it up years ago and have been using it since, the feed back on it has been great. It has been perfectly antiqued to assimilate the patina of the 18th century powder horns. It has a brass removable plug for easy filling. The bottom has a wood removable plug. This powder horn is 13" long large enough ... moreto tell quite a story. The strap is a 3/8" leather strap. The engravings are colored with waterproof india ink. Finally hand rubbed with six coats of paste wax. We are more then aware that we would all like to own a real 18th century powder horn. However for most of us(including me) the cost of one is out of reach. I decided a long time ago that I was not going to do 18th century reproductions, but to give you some original artwork and yet keep it in the correct period theme, art work that you can enjoy every time you look at it. My engravers mark is an authentic Celtic Eagle, pictured) it has a letter code underneath it. The whole inside curved surface of the horn is covered with designs that have been outlined in small brass& metal tacks. There are two banners, both outlined in brass tacks with metal tacks for the wording. One reads"H.E. ... moreGearhart" the other"Life Member S.A.R. which stands for Sons of the American Revolution. The inner designs between the two banners look to be good luck symbols& include a horse shoe with a horse head in the center with a black glass bead eye& color decoration, a shield, heart, spade, diamond, a heart with an arrow or crown on top. The large end is banded with a strip of hand cut brass secured by many small brass tacks. The backside of the horn has a hand cut brass mounting plate for display that is secured with 3 brass screws& has old glue? residue. This horn was appraised on NBC-2's"Trash Or Treasure" along with an inlaid Kentucky long rifle by professional appraiser Jack Minish back in 3/21/09. He estimated this powder horn to be from the 1830's& worth between $500.00- $700.00. The appraisal use to be on Youtube. But unfortunately is not any more& I didn't make a copy. Measures overall approx. 13" long in a straight line from the top of the carved head/ knob to the tip of spout& has a 3.5" x 2.5" diameter oval flat plug. James Dixon and Sons Powder Flask
The following item is an extremely nice James Dixon and Sons Powder Flask made in England. This copper flask is in very nice condition. It is solid all the way around with some minor dents here and there. The flask is 100% complete and even has the lanyard ring stil l present on the bottom. The top portion and spout screw on and off perfectly and the spout is measured in drams with 3. 2 3/4, 2 1/2, 2 1/4 measurem ents. The spring is no longer working. The flask measures 8 inches in length. Overall a very nice flask that would have been used for a rifle. This one has a beautiful brownish patina and is nice and heavy. The name Dixon and Sons. Sheffield is clearly marked on the top. This one would make a great holiday gift for any Civil War era collector.

From the estate of a New Hampshire clock and watch repairman is this silver plated powder container with embossed woman and clock pendulum which he was going to add together for a gorgeous pendulum. The powder container is complete and can be used separately. It is 5" in diameter x 2 1/2" tall with dings or dents. Marked on the bottom Meriden Company Quadruple Plate and will shine up nicely and weighs 1 pound. For clock people. As you can see in the photograph, the lid inside diameter is 4 7/8" and the pendulum(4 1/2" in diameter) fits inside the lid nicely and can be made into a really cool pendulum with overall weigh of 12.8 ounces 13 3/4" long. This auction is for a Lovely Antique Set of 3 Art Nouveau Covered Porcelain Dresser or Powder Jars made by W. Adams& Co. of Tunstall. England in 1912. They are in the company's Striking Athene Border Pattern and beautifully decorated in a classic Art Nouveau pattern of embossed fleur de lis and flowers and ribbons and bows in colorful raised enamel paint of Red. Blue, turquoise and yellow. The set consists of two matching covered jars that measure 2 1/2 inches tall and a larger one that measures 3 1/2 inches tall. Each lid and the bottom of the larger jar are marked Athena Border W. Adams& Co. Tunstall England and has a Registration Number of 612418. Which dates the pieces to 1912. I believe they were originally designed as powder jars. The pieces are in very good condition. Especially for their age. There are no chips or cracks ... moreor repairs to any of the pieces. One of the smaller jars has faint discoloration to the inside bottom. It is very hard to spot and you cannot see it with the lid on(see photo 11) One of the lids has a very small fleabite on the edge(see last photo) Please check my feedback and buy with confidence.
