Vintage Aluminum Shipping Box Container 1970's Cusick Wa 12 1/2" x 14" x 14 1/2" I'm offering a vintage aluminum shipping box container that was manufactured by Aluminum Box Mfg of Cusick. WA. As far as I can tell, this company operated in the 1970's. I wouldn't call this box lightweight or heavyweight, but it must be heavy enough to endure airline checked baggage because there was an Alaska Airlines baggage tag on the box when I bought it. It measures 12 1/2" x 14" x 14 1/2" and has a lightweight foam padded interior. Up for bids is a used military instrument shipping and storage container. Free of any damage other than one small dent. Dimensions are 36" long by 19" wide by 16" tall. Thick. Plate aluminum construction with stiffening ribs, rigid foam packing, ten heavy duty brass latches without damage, two padded handles on both sides and both ends, two lifting rings each side 8 total, internal humidity indication(needs new paper) interior pressure relieving valve, removable rubber sealed lid. Watertight, stack-able. These are the ultimate for shipping and/or storage of valuable equipment. Will not puncture easily like fiberglass or plastic. These weigh 65 pounds.
