RARE Harstone Pottery Blue Checks 14-3/8" SALAD/PASTA/SERVING/CENTERPIECE BOWL
For sale is a huge Round Bowl made in the USA by Hartstone Pottery with a Blue Check rim. I believe this is from their Blue Check pattern but not 100% sure. This really is a rare Bowl. It measures 14-3/8" in diameter and 3-1/2" deep making it very multi-functional, great as a Pasta, Salad or Serving Bowl as well as a large Centerpiece Bowl. It is in great displayed condition with no chips or breaks, there is a glaze spot on the inside on which the glaze is a little rough; not surprising as the success in making Pottery/Ceramic pieces in this large size and shape is very difficult and many end up being destroyed. This lovely bowl is very old(see wikipedia for the age of its back stamp and history of the manufacturing company) It is white with a spray of pink flowers and green foliage and gold scrolling on the ends. Measures: 6.25" long x 4 3/8" wide x 1.5" high In very good condition for its age with no chips or cracks. The bottom has some yellowing from age. Check out our other listings!
