Awesome estate sale find! Gorgeous three tiered gold champagne/beverage fountain. There are the normal wear marks-scratches. Scuffs, very minor dents-that comes from use. Works great! Holds 3-5 gallons. I filled it with 3 gallons and there was plenty of room for more. Has green and red lights underneath(that work) but can be changed to the color or colors you want. Pontrelli Champagne Fountain SATURN S-373 Bottom Base Only - 3 Gallon Beverage
Here is the bottom base/bowl of a Pontrelli Fountain. Model Saturn S-373. I believe it is the 3-gallon version. The power cord is about 7 feet long. I don't know much about this item at all; it was found in the storage room of a school kitchen. Previous history is unknown. The top tiers have been lost. So all that is included is what you see in the photos. As for functionality. I did put some water in the bowl and plugged the unit in to test it. It seems to work, as it did shoot water up through the metal tube. It could probably use a good cleaning though, as the inside of the bowl was quite dusty when found. I think it has been sitting unused for quite a while. I will leave the cleaning and maintenance up to the buyer. The lightbulb in the bottom socket did light up when the unit was turned on. Cosmetically, the bowl does have some light ... morescratching in places, but it's nothing I would consider extreme. If you have any questions. Or if you require more photos, please feel free to ask. This fountain is a beautiful older example of the Pontrelli Fountains. I am not sure the gallon size but the dimensions of this item are approx. 21 inches tall and 13 inches diameter. LET ME START OFF BY TELLING THE BAD. FIRST THE CENTER POST IS MISSING AS WELL AS THE PUMP AND ONE BULB IS MISSING BUT I WOULD JUST REPLACE BOTH. THIS IS AN EXPOSED UNDERSIDE SO THE WIRING IS RIGHT THERE AND EASY TO GET TO BUT IT NEEDS TO BE REDONE WHEN THE NEW PUMP IS PUT IN. THE OLD PUMP WAS REMOVED AND THAT JUST LEAVES THE WIRING DANGLING THERE. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE FOUNTAIN AT A GREAT OBO PRICE AND THE UNIT IS UN DENTED AND A HEAVIER GRADE OF STAINLESS STEEL AND IT IS A MIRROR FINISH. THERE IS A SHORT HOSE INSIDE THAT SHOULD BE REPLACED AT THE TIME OF SERVICE BUT A VERY CHEAP PART.
