Antique McCall's Serving Tray I remember trays like this at my grandmother's house when I was young. I won't tell you how old I am but that was a long time ago. I don't know the age it says 1931 on the inside lip but I don't think it is that old. I would guess 40s or 50s maybe? No matter what it is a nice collectable tray for display. Vintage Silver Plate* Wm Rogers Eagle& Star* Round Serving Tray Wow. Silver plates are really difficult to take pictures of. I will attempt to give a very detailed description. The plate is 10 3/8 inches across. The slightly raised design on the top of the plate has lots of swirls and some small flowers. The top of the plate is in very good condition with only some very minor scratches which cannot be seen unless the plate is examined at just the right angle. The bottom of the plate has an Eagle. Followed by Wm Rogers, followed by a star. Beneath this is the number 870. There are five noticeable scratches across the bottom of the plate. They are so shallow I cannot feel the groove with my fingertips. There are no dents on the plate. On the outer rim of the plate is a small discolored spot about 1/8th of an inch across. I know all I mentioned ... moreare the slight imperfections. But I want you to know exactly what you are bidding on. The plate is really beautiful and I tried to capture this in the pictures. Lot of 13 Piece Silver Plated Serving Trays round& an Oval Gallery Tray party. This is a really cool lot of vintage silver plated trays bowls and serving dishes. I don't know much about the designs but most if these are clearly marked on the bottom. There are some blemishes on some if the items that I'm sure can easily be buffed or polished off. The brands include Oneida. Intrernational, Dodge L.A, WM Rogers, Gorham, Webster Wilcox, Crescent 4857. The middle large bowl with the ornate flower rim is not marked that I could find. This would make a perfect gift for the collector or just for fun to have around the house for parties. Dents or rust- there are minor surface scratches from use The tray has the floral scroll center and a roped edging Still has the sticker on the back Weighs 1 pound& 12.8 ounces unpacked All of my silver plate is hand washed& polished Any spots and specks that you see in the pics are reflections from the camera and not the tray I put the soup can in the pics to give an idea of the size and does not come with the tray I have other silver plated items listed and I will be glad to combine shipping Items come from a pet free home ... morebut not a smoke free home!
