On the reverse side there are 2 symbols but I do not know their meaning. My guess is that it is carved in Chinese Greenstone or Soapstone(sorry. I'm not an expert) I would assume that it is meant to function as a small dish. Of course, it's perfectly fine as a display piece, which is how I've used it. Up for sale is a Vintage Stunning Men's Masonic Ring! I think it's from sometime between 1940-1970. It features about 16 mm by 13.75 mm Rounded Rectangle Shaped Blue Stone. The stone has a faceted edge. Next to the Bezel Setting. I'm unsure of the stone. It looks to be made as a Sapphire Substitute. It was common for Jewelry of this time to have glass stones. It also has an inset round diamond that is about.03 Carat. There are 2 symbols on the sides that have worn down over time. The Blue Stone has some surface scratches-these are visible in my pictures.
