Dexter Hysol Hot Melt Adhesive Glue Applicator Gun System Machine
You are bidding on a Model AFFN2(or AFEN2. It's hard to read) Dexter Hysol hot melt application system. It consists of a pneumatic piston that pushes on a cylinder of hot melt glue and drives it through an electrically heated chamber, and then out the nozzle onto the part to be glued. It is missing the foot pedal switch, which should be connected to the black and white wires of the unterminated electrical cord. The green wire in that cord is chassis ground. I tried it, and it heats fine, the piston pushes on the glue cylinder if those two wires are shorted together. I couldn't get the cylinder to retract, but I could push it back manually. There seems to be a switch inside which actuates when the piston reaches full travel, so that might be the problem. There is an 8 pin relay on the machine whose function I couldn't figure out. ... moreThis came from a high tech manufacturing facility which was downsizing. I will take it off its stand and remove the pressure valve assembly and feeder magazine for easier shipping.
