The handle is carved florals as is the footed base. This has seen many posh affairs as well as being photographed at the Governos Mansion 40 years ago for a state cookbook. It belonged to Great Grandmom early in the 1900's. Condition is excellent and needs polishing. If photos seem dark perhaps I can email better lit ones if interested.
