Offered for auction is this Unknown light yellow oval shaped gem stone. Weighing 1.0 carat. I took it to a high end jeweler to see if he could tell me what the stone was. But of course for him to tell me and grade the stone it would have been to costly for my budget. I did apply my diamond tester to the stone and it read high for hardness into the diamond range, however it is not a diamond. So perhaps someone may have some idea of what this stone could be. The listing is for a dynamic antique brooch shaped like a flower. The large stones are open work and a deep cobalt type blue color. The frame is a silver tone(or pewter tone) It has a nice matte finish. The small rhinestones are light blue. One on the tip of the bow is darker than the rest. This is an original 1930's swivel open locket pendent. THIS IS THE ONLY PIECE LIKE THIS THERE IS. This locket has a matted type of finish to the gold surface with a little discoloration on the reverse. There is an oval amber stone set on the front surface which I think is glass. This locket opens by swiveling it to the side. There is a ring at the top where you can attach it as a pendant. This piece measures about 1 ½ inches tall.
