Also used it to hang pictures on walls perfectly level on all 4 walls. Also used it to get the proper drop on sewer line. Very handy to have around a construction site, many uses. To use in bright sunlight you have to use a regular reflector, I used a reflector that came off the side of a car. Uses 3AA batteries. Maybe someone can us it, fore it has been in my closet for over a year, and the batteries are still good.
