Haviland Limoges France Rope Blank Coffee Chocolate Pot Carnation Butterfly 1877 This is a piece of Haviland Limgoes France China. The piece is on the Rope Blank. It has a twisted or braided rope for the handle, finial for the lid and around the spout of the pot. The peice is decoarted with a blueish gray florals and a butterfly. The flower on the front appear as Carnations with a berry at the bottom. The lid has a carnation and a butterfly. The piece is trimmed with gold and it is worn around the top rim and the handle. The piece is marked with the Blue Donut Mark that reads Haviland& Co Limoges and then in green the H&Co over a Line which was only used in 1877. This piece also has the embossed registery mark in the porcelain and glazed over. The piece stands 9 1/2" It is either a Coffee or Chocolate Pot, it seems a bit large ... morefor a Chocolate Pot, but it is the shape of that pot. This is a very nice late Victorian rope twist basket weave posy vase with a footed base with interwoven tubes for stems. The vase is around 3 and 1/2" high. 6" across the top rim and in a fine condition with just one tiny chip at the top of one of the tubes. The base is unmarked dating circa 1890-1900. Antique tiger oak dining room table/5 leg rope twist- $1,275
This is a beautiful round 54" antique tiger oak dining room table. Circa mid- to late 1800s per the antique dealer when purchased. It has 5 very thick, solid, and sturdy legs done with the rope twist design. The rope twist design is also around the"skirt" of the table. I used this in my office to hold client meetings for the last 12-years before recent retirement, where it was lovingly and gently used. It is in beautiful condition. Super translucent! See pics! Most translucent Eames shell that I've seen. its awesome! Has original zinc X base with domes of silence glides. Base has oxidation but I chose to leave it this way. It could be easily cleaned. Leaving the chair as found from original owner. The only flaws would be some very slight browning bleed through with the front shock mounts(very slight) And a few very light browning spots on the bottom and side of shell. Also the rope edge has about a 2.5 inch gap where the rope ran short. NOT DAMAGE. This is in the way that. The chair was manufactured. I've seen this before. Not a problem. Vintage 80s Black Silver Braided Rope Belt 32-35" Sz M Beaded Mirror Disc Chunky
This is a lovely vintage belt from the 1980s. The main part of the belt is made out of braided pieces of rope done that are solid black. In the center. There is a large silver disc that has a faceted surface, giving it a hammered sort of look. The disc has a reflective mirror finish, and it is hollow in the center. On either side of the silver disc, there are large bead accents. In the back, there are two large rope loops, and the rope is a bit stretchy, allowing for some flexibility in terms of fit. The belt closes in the back with a large metal hook that attaches to one of the loops. The belt is labeled a size Medium. It measures 32" from tip to tip(including the hook) when laying flat and unstretched. I was able to stretch it to 35" pretty easily. The rope will stretch a little beyond that. But please leave yourself room for ... morecomfort of movement. The central silver disc is 3" in diameter. The braided section is about 1.25" wide. PLEASE NOTE that the listing is just for the belt. The dress is for display purposes only. Condition: This item is in VERY GOOD condition for its age. However. I did want to say that I made a small mend to the belt. The rope trim that is wound around the end of the loop in the back had started to come undone on one side. I rewound the loose section and stitched it into place with black thread(see last picture) This small mend should not be noticeable when the belt is worn. This vintage. 1970s, nautical coaster set of 8 coasters in stand, is made of solid oak wood with warm brown/orange, twisted rope inside of the coasters to absorb moisture from drinks. Each coaster measures: 3-1/2" wide diameter X 1"high. They sit in 2 stacks of 4 each in the custom made holder which has 5 cylindrical pegs which separate the stacks(5 pegs are removable for storing and there is a little glue residue at bottom of one peg) The holder measures: 8" wide X 4-1/2" deep X 4" Tall. The base of the holder also has 2 indentations where the coasters sit in place and won't slide off. The bottom has 4 green felt circles to keep holder from skidding/sliding on shelf or table. The rope insides on the coasters may show slight ... morefading due to its vintage age, but in no way affects the usability of the coaster.
