This is how Buddha was depicted in Siam(present day Thailand) during the Ayutthaya Period. The Statue is not signed and it doesn’t have any identifying marks. But we believe it was made during the Middle to Late 20th Century. The Statue, which is Hollow but still fairly heavy, stands 20 inches high and measures 7 inches wide and the Lotus Throne measures 5 inches in diameter. Cute Vintage. Retro Yellow Bird Salt& Pepper Shakers This is an adorable salt and pepper shaker set of yellow birds with green beaks. Orange wings and tail feathers, and red plumes. They look to be from the 70s but I can't be sure. The bottom of each shaker is marked(photo 3) but I'm not sure what it says. I don't know what the shakers are made of- papier mache, resin or pottery perhaps. Each shaker measures 2 1/2" tall at the tail by 2 3/4" across from wing to wing. There is one chip on the tail feather of the pepper shaker(photo 2) There are a few minor nicks on other spots.
