This is a very nice resin figurine of two Basset Hounds made in Italy by Castagna. Made of heavy resin. This figurine has one Basset lying down and asleep. Next to him/her is another Basset sitting. The dogs are reddish brown in coat color with off white for parts of the muzzle. Chest, belly and paws. The sitting Basset has a sweet expression and the sleeping one is dear. There is a label on the bottom of the piece which states"Original by Castegna. Made in Italy c. 1988" On the rump of the sitting hound there is a mark"c. 1989" and the sleeping Basset, has"Castagna" see photos) The resin figurine is 4" long. 4" wide, and 3 1/4" tall.
