Which is one of the cuter ones we’ve come“a-cross” Sorry for the puns… it’s a bad“habit” This youthful Catholic Nun doll has stayed in good condition with all fingers, feet, ears, and fabrics intact. We got her lovingly wrapped in tissue paper and have kept her there to avoid damaging or dirtying a doll that appears to be in great condition with only minor cleanable soiling. We believe her to be made in Japan, but since there aren’t any markings on her we aren’t positive. Her sleepy-eyes work great with no delay and natural movement. The white collar and nun cap are made of a cream vinyl, while the rest is black and cream fabric. The body is made of plastic(probably Celluloid) as are the arms and legs. The seam line on the head has separated a bit at the bottom on each side. ... moreSuch is the nature of celluloid, but it's not objectionable looking and appears to be quite stable. You have to search to find this but we mention it for accuracy. This auction is for a Vintage 7-UP Vending Machine Sign. It measures 9" tall x 8" wide. I've collected 7-Up Advertising for over 35 years and am starting to sell some of my collection. I purchased this many years ago and it has been in storage ever since. I was told this originally came from a 7-Up machine and fit into one of the panels on the machine. It is OPAQUE and did not originally have a light behind it. The back has some foam and glue residue. Possibly from its original mounting. There is about a 1/8" extended ... morelip around the entire piece on the front, which makes it look like it was possibly mounted from behind. I am really guessing about its original use, so if anyone knows where it came from I would love to know for sure. It has a really cool 3D effect and extends about 1" in thickness. There are a couple small nicks in the paint, but overall it is in terrific shape. Please check out all my pictures for condition. I put a can of Coke next to it to show size/scale.
