This is an ORIGINAL Vietnam War Era US Military/Army M-1956 Canteen Cover with a civilian manufacture canteen. Canteen is made of Olive Plastic and is in very good shape with no stains(has some letters/ initials inked on it) or specific damage but shows signs of wear. Has a black plastic cap. Has the military type instructions to front and"Made in Taiwan" to bottom of canteen body. Appears that the canteen would hold water and be functional but sold as a relic only and not intended to carry potable water. M-1956 Cover is made of heavy duty O/D canvas material and is in fair shape. Has a small(about 1" tear to front as well as a couple of small repair spots. There are also 4 small worn thru spots to fabric in the rear.most along bottom edge. No specific stains but shows moderate to heavy general wear. It was attached with a straight pin, at the moment, I can't find it. My grand-daughter never leaves my things alone. If I do find it, it will be included. She is 7" tall, with amber eyes. She has hoop earrings and a matching bracelet. Mary Jane shoes, red bloomers and the rest is obvious. It is raining lightly here and one photo looks like she's crying, raindrops. Goofy measures 3.75" tall and 4" wide. Donald measures 2" tall and 4" wide. Tinker Bell measures 3 5/8" tall and 1.75" wide. The stands measure 2.75" x 3" x 1" All in great condition.
