This early shade is in good condition. It does have small chips on the top and bottom hand ground edges( normal for hand ground)and it has some nice air bubbles. This is an Ameristep hub-style ground blind. It is USED. I purchased it around 6 years ago and have not used it last 3 years, been sitting in dry storage. Inside of blind when set up measures 5 feet x 5 feet and is 68 inches to the center roof. As you can see by the pictures it is a mesh with leafy camo. In the last picture I am showing you a tear in the mesh, this had happened first night we left it out on some hunting ground, vandals. I sewed the tear back together with heavy twine and used it 3 more years, does not effect set-up at all or the blind in any way. It is not visible from outside. Vintage Carlton road bike, 22.5in frame, rebuilt from the ground up
This is a classic 1960s Carlton which has been built up from a bare frame using correct period components. With pretty well everything refurbished or replaced. The frame is a 22.5in Raleigh Carlton with wraparound seat stay and curved cable bridge for centre-pull rear brake. The serial number on bottom bracket is 2736740. Which I make 1966 or thereabouts. The bottom bracket is also marked 64230JA, and the left rear dropout is stamped 8805Z– I don’t know what these numbers indicate. The bare frame weighs 2660g. The frame was carefully stripped to bare metal, powder-coated in pillar box red by DFB of Chesterfield in October 2012, given a set of NOS Carlton stickers. And finally fitted with Raleigh chrome forks of the correct vintage. The 71mm bottom bracket uses Raleigh’s unique 26tpi thread rather than standard English 24tpi. Which supports ... morethe 1960s dating; I managed to find a new set of bottom bracket cups with the correct threads. It’s fitted with an SR Custom crankset, and a pair of chrome rat-trap pedals which have cleaned up reasonably well– there’s still a little rust in the corners, but you have to look for it. Drivetrain has the correct period Huret front and rear derailleurs and Huret shifters on a Raleigh-branded band. Wheels have Maillard hubs with Rigida 27 x 1.25 alloy rims. Which run nice and true. Call me sad, but I carefully removed the spokes one by one, and cleaned each one with fine-grade wire wool before re-fitting it, and finally trueing the wheels. The tyres are NOS Vee Rubber– treads are perfect, but there is some cracking to the gumwalls. Brakes are Weinmann centre-pulls. Completely stripped and refurbished, with a nice pair of period Weinmann‘red dot’ levers– the red dots match the frame, you see. How smart is that? Alloy stem and bars with new black cork tape. Period‘shortie’ mudguards which have polished up well, and a period Selle Royale saddle. Everything has been meticulously cleaned and greased. new bearings. new cables… I’m not claiming it’s perfect, but it’s one of the

Circa 1870s, that was rescued from the basement of a family-owned Brooklyn pharmacy established in 1875. It is 10 1/2" high to the top of the ground glass stopper by 2 3/4" wide. It is used; I would list the tent/rain fly in good condition, perhaps some slightly worn spots here and there, but nothing physically damaged. Tent poles are bamboo and in fair condition. The still fit together and work fine, but they are worn. The edge of one pole split slightly so it was patched with tape; again, it still works. The ground tarp is new and unopened. Included are tent, rain fly, poles, stakes, bags for the above, and tarp. This tent is for someone who wants to try camping but does not want to spend a lot of money on new gear. Set 3 Fine Blown Cut Wine Glasses Green Stems Ground Pontil Scandinavian Kosta
For sale is this set of 3 fine blown and cut glass wine glasses. These glasses feature green glass stems with octagonal bases. A wonderfully cut clear bowl, and a finely ground pontil on the base. These glasses also have very delicate ring which sounds with the lightest flick of the bowl portion. I was unable to identify the pattern to these glasses, but they were likely made by Kosta glass works, the predecessor to Kosta Boda of Sweden circa 1900. Each glass measures approx. 6" tall by 2 3/4" in diameter and holds approx. 4 ounces of fluid. Individual sizes vary as these items were hand blown individually. One glass has two chips and a fleabite on the base. Another glass has one small chip on the base and two small fleabites. There are no other chips. Cracks or repairs to these glasses. Japanese oxblood ground lacquer card case
Elegant Japanese lacquer card case This elegant little card case was made in Japan towards the end of the 19th century. It is made of lacquer with an oxblood ground and decorated with hiramaki-e decoration: bamboo and flowers on one side and three roundels with script on the other. It has a slip-top lid and the inner slip is lacquered to simulate bamboo. Most Japanese lacquer card cases were made for ladies. But this case measures 43 x 87 x 8mm and was most likely made for a gentleman(since gentleman's card cases were always smaller than those for ladies) It's in very good condition; the lacquer is glossy and the hirmaki-e has only light wear. 1800's Antique CHINESE EMBROIDERED PANEL WALL HANGING Cranes, Flowers Red Ground
I have for auction a beautiful antique Chinese embroidered wall hanging panel in bright red with exquisite embroidery which depicts cranes. Water lillies and some Chinese letters. This panel measures approx 84" in length by 22" in width. It is lined on the back with plain cotton fabric and a dark grey floral fabric forms the borders. It comes with provenance from a former owner. The paper attached says: This Chinese wall panel was a preentation piece from Civic Officials in Yingkow, Manchuria, to the Russian Consul. In 1921 the Consulate was closed and it was then that the present owner acquired it. It is an excellent example of the old type of Chinese embroidery. On the back of the paper it supplies what looks like the history of when it was resold and to whom. The person who acquired it appears to have been a Civil Engineer in ... moreManchuria. The two cranes at the bottom of the panel measures approx. 14" tall and the largest pink flowers is approx. 9" across. It is all embroidered in fine silk in the finest of stitches. This beautiful old piece does have some issues. The silk needs to be stabilized and the panel framed for preservation. There are several splits in the silk across the panel and some of the splits near the bottom show some freying however the embroidery itself appears to be intact except for some very minor silk threads missing on a few of the stems and leaves. There are several loops or stitching on the back where it would have been hung in the Consulate. This is a rare and very beautiful piece from the 1800's which is accompanied by some provenance. S&H is at the expense of the buyer. My preferred payment is via Paypal however should you wish to use alternative payments then please ask. I try very hard to describe my vintage items. This is a vintage razor I picked up at an estate sale in Japan. It may have been exported to Japan in the late Meiji Era(c. 1910) as it has A German name: Solingen on the blade and Friodur embeded on its handle in a silver metal(see picture 10) Also on the tang of the blade is written the company name. Friodur" as well as, J.A.Henckles Solingen Zwillingswerk" see pictues 8& 9) The blade is still razor sharp and. And in excellent condition. The handle is made of a celuloid(pre plastic) that has a very iv_ry look about it. It has been in storage for most of its life and shows only slight if any signs of use. Stunning Fine Mason's Ironstone Large Square Covered Jar or Potpourri circa 1830- 1848 ~ Samurai Figures and Japanese Motifs ~ Aquamarine Transfer Printed Ground ~ 6 1/2" high ~ about 5 3/8" across the top ~ weighs 2 lb. 12 oz. A Mason's Ironstone potpourri box with a lid; this possibly had another pierced triangular cover or was meant as a covered box as part of a garniture of potpourris. It has Japanese Samurai figures and still life paintings with vases. Flowers and fish on the sides. The shoulder and sides have raised scroll decoration painted brick red over the bright turquoise ground. It sits on four realistically molded lion's heads with large paws. In excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs and the gilding is in very good condition. In pic below. There is one tiny spot in the turquoise ground that ... morehas flaked off but not very noticeable. The decoration in the side panels are done with fine transfers that are hand painted in enamels with gilded details. The four lion head and paw feet are colored bright orange with fine gilded details to the faces etc. Above: the right corner of the lid has a yellowish coloring although I don't believe it is a repair as it doesn't glow under ultraviolet light. I think probably something in the final glaze and not that noticeable. Below: this angular shaped crown was used between 1830 and 1848. Notice that none of the legs are re-attached or damaged. Up for auction is an antique 6" tall etched clear glass apothecary bottle and stopper. Etched in are the words de Dandaline. The bottom of the stopper is rough cut. The bottom base measures 2 1/2" while the top shoulder measures 1 3/4" The stopper is seamless like the bottle and sits a little low in the neck. I do not know if the stopper is original but they did come together from my great grandfathers estate who was a Detroit Corktown area pharmacist. Ships to the 48 Continental United States only.
