Great piece for the collector or just a neat sign to hang in a game room or bar. It measures about 15-1/2" X 23-1/2" Is tin and has a slightly raised double edge. The Surgeon General's warning appears in the bottom left corner and next to it the Philip Morris copyright date: 1990. Under the bottom right rim it indicates the sign was made by Stout Industries, Inc. St. Louis, MO. There are holes in each of the four corners to accept screws for hanging. The previous owner attached twine through the top two holes which I'm leaving in place. There are six squares of felt glued on the back. Likely by the previous owner, probably to attempt to protect the wall. There are a few very small dings mostly around the outside edge of the rim. Some fairly significant scratching which can only be seen when held up to a light and minimal ... morepaint loss mostly along the top edge. This is a pre-owned piece. Probably displayed then stored under undesirable conditions. I have removed at least 2-3 layers of dirt and there is probably another layer or two remaining. It is being sold as is. I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to odors: smoking, fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other types of storage odors or pets. To avoid the expense of shipping.
