Original vintage HO scale Aurora Tjet solid rivet slot car chassis, 1960's rare
This is for a vintage 2 1/2" HO scale Aurora Model Motoring Tjet solid rivet slot car CHASSIS from the 1960's. The front tires rub a little on the body frame but it could be sanded down to clear the body i have placed small screws to connect the body to chassis but they seem small but it holds it in place.im sure you can get the correct screws at a hobby shop. This chassis is in excellent condition and runs just fine. I have cleaned. Lubricated and tested it. The tires are soft and plyable and the pickups are not worn. The body of the car is not from the 60's its a 1957 beiair body but im not sure what year it was made. E-mail me with any questions or for additional photos. This is a vintage Aurora Ford Mustang Fastback on a nice running. Quiet, solid rivet chassis. It is yellow and in excellent condition. There are no breaks, cuts or cracks. The chrome is worn, and the silver accents are gone. The roof paint looks to be separating from the roof along the edges(see roof pic) Enjoy the hobby!

This is the car James Dean lost his life in although his was a left-hand drive. The body is a new MEV body with great detail. Body is used but has almost no visible play wear. Only thing worth mentioning is that it's missing 1 stack on the chrome motor piece as shown in the last photo. Otherwise this is in excellent condition! Nothing cut or cracked that I can see. A beautiful car like this deserves to be displayed. The solid rivet chassis is super clean and looks like it's new. The red wire/gray tip armature runs great. But has not been track tested. Look through all of the pictures carefully because they provide a better description than I can. No lead poisoning in these. Just a few little dings around the bottom edge, as shown in the last couple photos. Hard to photograph dings, but you won't be disappointed as long as you don't mind cleaning and polishing them. A very nice set. Worth more than the ir weight in copper at some point not too far off.
