Piko 38101 0-6-0 Steam Locomotive with Aristocraft tender, modified
Part of collection. Not much is known about this. This item appears to be a Piko saddle tank engine with the tanks removed. The steam and sand domes appear to be added on with questionable skill. The side-marker lanterns appear to be too large for the loco and can use a bit of glue to better secure them. The hand rails along the boiler are not original and appear to need glue. There is paint over spray on the side rods and the rear end coal bin appears to have been hacked away to accommodate the tender. The coupler on the engine is screwed into a small block of wood. The rear light wiring is intact. The loco is painted and marked as UP. The original saddle tank is not with the unit and not a part of this auction. Here is a PIKO Station"Grizzly Flats" 62209. This kit is complete with no missing pieces. It even has the original decals. The box is in good shape. In one of the boxes there appears to be some sort of black smears on certain pieces of the model. Looks like paint got all over these pieces. There is no water damage anywhere on the box so I dont think it is due to water damage. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. It does come off with a little elbow grease. But if you plan on painting this model, it will not be noticeable. This is actually old stock and is basically new. I inventoried all the pieces as you can tell by the highlights on the instructions. The red and silver CSD loco has a hole in the front side panel. A buffer is broken off, a coupling is missing and the silver paintwork is very worn in places. It is a runner but is slow and noisy. click on the pics for a closer look) The blue and silver loco has a bit of wear to its paintwork and the signage/numbering is quite worn. St. George Church (PIKO 62229) Assembled in Pristine Condition
This is a PRISTINE PIKO(Model 62229) G Scale St. George Church. This is part of the PIKO series of weather proofed model buildings that depict early rural American themes. It was only recently and carefully assembled and used briefly on an indoor display. It was not part of an operational railroad. I have previously assembled a number of G scale buildings for various railroad displays and later sold them on e-Bay(see buyer comments) Colors are light gray with white window/door frames. There are three windows on each side. Two windows in the back and one on each side of the front entry. The roof is gray and beneath the gray steeple roof is a swinging church bell. The steeple is not attached and can be placed on either the church or entry roof as shown in the two final photos. In front of the church are a removable set of steps and a small ... moreentrance platform inside the door. The sign, Saint George, shown above the front door was not attached for the display. It can be added or included in the box along with t he original assembly instructions. Check buyer comments for assurance of my listings.
