1994 275 ton HP(hydraulic) injection molding machine. With a Pathfinder 1000 controller. This machine was bought, at auction, several weeks ago, for the Pathfinder 1000 controller only(to serve as a backup to the same controller that we have on another machine) But, we've reconsidered whether or not a"spare" controller is a necessity or a luxury, and are reluctant to scrap what may be a perfectly good molding machine. The machine may or may not run.no one knows. It was owned by an automotive supplier, located near Dayton, OH, and needs to be moved out on Oct. 2nd or 3rd(Thur. or Fri. The financial risk to a potential buyer is, basically, little more the cost of rigging and transportation costs. We have a quote of about $2,500 for the rigging on the seller's end. The asking price of the machine is $7,000. If the machine is"dead ... moreon arrival" we'll agree to purchase the controller back, for $2,000, as long as it's within 90 days of the date of sale. The machine, itself, weighs about 14 tons, so the scrap value of the steel is probably worth about $3,000. There has to also be at least several thousand dollars worth of pumps and valves. This is a great vintage Van Dorn Standard Drill. This beauty has to be at least over sixty years old. It runs great and has lots of power and weighs over 5 pounds. They don't make drills like this anymore. The words Delta Marine Elec. Co. Are etched in the side if the drill(See pic) vIt has been kept dry and in a climate controlled environment over these many years. It comes with a key.
