For sale is a GSI Lexan Plate set. Made in early 2007. Included in the set is a plate, cereal bowl, mug, and utensils on a keeper ring. All items are kept in a mesh bag with slide closure, this is good for storage or drying on the move. Clear Lexan Apollo Space Mission Astronaut Commemorative from 1969
An avid Apollo Space Mission collector recorded(engraved) the dates and outcomes of each Apollo Mission on the bottom of this CLEAR LEXAN CUBE with PEWTER FIGURES of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and the Landing Module on the surface of the moon. The lexan cube is amazingly clear. Even though it looks slightly discolored in these photos. The background colors just show through. All of the Apollo launches are recorded on the bottom with little symbols(Stick men or ovals) beside each date to signify the outcome of each mission. A nice little commemorative of one of the most exciting times in American history. Deep Blue Fused Lexan Base. Measures 1 7/8" long. 1 3/8" tall, 1 inch deep. No chips, cracks scratches or broken corners. The lexan is still very clear. Made around 1969. Presumably engraved a few years later.

This is a neat vintage piggy bank. If you google"Lexan Fashionette Air Conditioner. Duramold" you can find an old advertisement from 1967. The bank is made from the case material used on GE Fashionette Air Conditioners. I'm assuming that it dates to around the same time. As it was probably used as a marketing tool. There is no opening to the bottom of the bank.it seems to be a"break it to open it" bank. But maybe that was their point.to show everyone how durable their air conditioners were! Approx. 6.5" long. 4" tall I haven't been able to find many other banks like this. It's an interesting little piece that would make a great addition to a collection. There's a few scuffs, light scratches. But, there are no cracks or chips anywhere. We found this in upstate New York. This family was having a huge garage sale, we saw this sign as we were driving by, purchased it for our son. He thinks it's to big to hang in his office, so here it is! A large 2-7/8" diameter. 1/4" thick medal awarded by Republic Steel in the early 1970's as a safety award for the Southern District, It is encased in a 4-1/2" square, 1-1/4" thick block of lexan. It is faintly marked"MEDALLIC ART CO. N.Y. on the bottom edge. The medal is in perfect condition. The lexan shows very minor signs of wear and some tiny chips at the corners.
