Untitled Document This Peerless Clock Co. vintage wall clock looks like a late-1970s model. Combining the past and future with a fun Post Modern"Contempo" style. It is an actual working pendulum clock with a goldtone aluminum face mounted on a transparent acrylic sheet, and it appears to float between the two substantial oak side panels. The clock is used, and there are some minor scuffs in the surfaces of the acrylic panel and clock face, but no deep scratches or other serious damage that detracts from the appearance. The clock is working, and adjusting the knob at the bottom of the pendulum speeds or slows the time. The original battery cover is missing, which holds an electrical connection together that keeps the pendulum motor running. The battery stays in fine, but the pendulum motor will not keep self-winding without it. We ... moresimply wrapped a rubber band around the motor to hold the connection tab in place. This is a fabulous molded carved Lucite acrylic holder in excellent shiny bright vintage condition. This is an unusual and large groovy napkin holder. It would look fabulous on your retro kitchen table. Or even on your desk to organize letters or papers! The holder measures 6 3/4" tall X 5" wide. The base measures 3 1/8" X 2 5/8" The holder is 2 3/8" between sides to hold a large amount of napkins. This is a heavy thick Lucite plastic holder, it will stand proud and secure on your table. Everyone who threw cocktail parties had one of these- along with a martini shaker and glasses. Just the touch the well-dressed party giver needed to class up the joint! Put some Big Band or Old Blue Eyes on the stereo and you had all the trimmings for a well-dressed party. Looks like this would hold at least two trays of ice cubes- if you remember those aluminum trays with the handle to loosen the cubes, the ones that were hard as a brick and to get them out of the tray you had to use hot water to loosen them enough so the handle would move. Will give your bar or sideboard a touch of elegance, plus it's one of the niceties that bring back memories ... moreof the past. Thick, heavy glass in excellent condition with no imperfections that I can see or feel. 1970's Clear Fibes Acrylic Kit (cracked floor tom)
Just got done restoring this kit. There are acutall7(2) 13" toms, one with no bottom hoop but fully restored, also mounting arms for both of them. Fibes mounting systems really dont hold well so I do not use them at all. There is a crack in the floor tom that I have repaired. I have a detailed article on everything I did to this kit I can send to potential buyer. Most the hardware is original but roughly half the tension rods from the kick are new generic ones, the resonant floor tom hoop has a broken eyelet but holds tune. It was a very rough drum set that I have brought back to life. But all the bumps and bruises cannot be addressed. Here are the replacement parts I put on the drums DW Clip on kick legs Gibraltar Reso kick hoop(batter side is steel) All new resonant evans heads. These are three acrylic coffee"steins" made by Quick Point for the Citizens Bank of Sparta. Missouri. The steins are different colors. One is green opaque; one is red opaque; the third is red and clear. They are all stamped"Made in USA" on the bottom, the the two opaque steins are stamped with the Quick Point logo. The steins all read"Citizens Bank of Sparta 417-634-3 111" in gold lettering. The lettering is 99.9% intact with very minor loss. The steins all have very light scratching from use. They all barrel shaped. Hold about 10.5 oz liquid, and measure nearly 4" tall X nearly 3" in diameter accross the top. Shipping cost is within the US only.
