Original American Flyer from 1953 only. Close to perfect. All original, fully intact, no rust. Patina and lettering very nice and bright. Cleaned and ready to go. May have a few slight marks, but overall looks close to new. Very hard to find in this top condition. High collector quality. Reduced shipping cost for multiple items. Outside continental US, buyer pays actual postage. Of the 160 platforms. A few red roof ones do turn up and the rest usually have green or blue roofs. On rare occasions a red roof version(like this one) does turn up. There was one other offered on eBay in the last two years and that sold for $900 plus. In addition to being the rare red roof version, 160s especially in this nice, all complete and all original condition rarely turn up. All three factors make it a triple rare combination. This one was also probably from ... morethe very last production as it has the rare"Kent" and Old Gold"King Size" signs. These signs were only used at the very end of production. We looked hard and did find a couple of slight marks. Otherwise, it is a very clean and very rare addition to any collection. Also, everything is very crisp and almost new looking, especially the signs and signboard. Great patina. The original box isn't great, but it did protect the platform well. It does have some of the original wrapping tissue as well. The box is probably only a 3 or 4 on a 1-10 scale and the lettering and stamping has faded over time.
