Offered for sale is this fantastic very rare vintage made in Japan Hitachi 6 or Hitachi TH-666 transistor radio with docking station manufactured 1959 in Japan. I have done some research on this great radio and have found this model to be referred to as a shirt pocket radio and was mentioned to be the"first shirt pocket radio" I love this transistor and is truly one of the items I will long regret parting with. I purchased this very unique little radio some time ago. I don't see many of these speaker boxes. Super cool and I believe just as rare. This speaker box while in need of a good cleaning is in excellent working condition. If you know about these vintage transistors you know well more than I. What I can tell you about this little set is It works. I place a battery in it and it makes a static noise. I can not pick up a ... morestation. I do not know if this has to do with location or a part that is in need of repair. The radio does show some staining or dark spots as well as a chip missing on the top of the radio. Antique Creamer - Intercolonial Railroad Station - General View Moncton, N.B.
Item you are Bidding on: Vintage Antique Creamer I.C.R. Station General View Moncton N.B. Creamer is about 3.25 inches tall with pointed spout and handle. Creamer is in good condition without any chips or cracks noted except possible damage on point of handle that is black(possible firing issue) see pictures. Gold gilding on one side of creamer is worn some. But mostly intact. White glaze on entire body of creamer is shiny and the picture of"I.C.R. General Station View Moncton N.B. is nearly perfect. According to Wikipedia, motto for Moncton is"I Rise Again" Until around 1875, city was first a shipbuilding location(East side of New Brunswick) then a stop on the Intercolonial Railway which evolved into the Canadian National Railway. When the railroad closed its repair shops and pretty much left the city, Moncton reinvented itself ... moreas a light manufacturing, technology, distribution and tourist destination. It is now one of the fastest growing cities east of Toronto. The station on the creamer was built in 1906, after the original was totally destroyed by fire. It went in decline when the railroad pulled out, and was torn down for redevelopment in 1990.The granite cornerstone is part of a monument to the old station and its shops. Please inspect the pictures carefully and make your bidding decision on them. As can be seen, the china is very shiny. We took pictures from several angles so the vast majority of it can be seen and blown-up for good inspection. This particular video conference system was previously owned by the Ohio State University was part of a surplus auction when the school did some upgrades we have not tested this item but it appears to be in good condition and considering where they came from I would have no reason to think that it would not work correctly. I see many of these other same system for sale on here but none of them come with a custom case fit for this exact equipment and a well-known previous owner. The card has a small bend in one corner and a little soiling on the back of the card. The card is in very good condition. This building has some unbelievable statistics. This station was opened on Spetember 8. 1910. This building connects to N.J. by twin tunnels under the Hudson River 60ft. below the surface and also connects with Long Island by underground tunnels. The entire cost of this project was $100,000,000, that is quite a price tag now let alone then! WOW! This second card is divided and unposted. This is also a photo reproduction. The card is in excellent condition. Trains arrive and depart under electric power only. It is estimated that one-hundred and fifteen thousand passengers pass thru the station ... moredaily. The facts on these 2 buildings is staggering for today's population and costs let alone for 1910. It is hard to believe there were that many people needing that service back then.
