This is a vintage Brilhart Ebolin 3 tenor mouthpiece. Serial number 173529, in very good original condition. As many(if not most) Brilharts, the nominal size and real size differ considerably- this piece has a tip right around.087" making it a true 5* the curve breaks at 38. Physically there are only some scattered small scratches about the piece. The original facing has its fine milling on the table and out the rails and is excellent+; the original interior is excellent with only a minute cleaning scratch or two. No cap or ligature comes with the mouthpiece. This is a really good blowing mouthpiece. Especially for short money. It's got a strong medium to medium bright sound with just enough reedy buzz inside to fatten it up and make it good and audible. But it is believed to have been used primarily in the field of Urology. It measures the absorbance of wavelengths of light by a specific solution. The iron is 4 inches long. 1-7/8 inches wide and 3-1/8 inches tall from the bottom of the sad iron to the shaped center top of the handle. It has a black painted wood handle on top. A black painted wood handle on the lever action and still retains all of the original asbestos lining the top cover. FOSSILS UK SILURIAN RARE - First TRUE LAND PLANT - Cooksonia
NEOVENATOR Possibly the UK's biggest killer dinosaur. It once roamed the areas of Southern England around 120 million years ago. Preying on the herds of Iguanodon and also, I would imagine, the numerous long necked sauropods that were around at this time. It is related to the T-Rex busting Carcharodontosaurus. FOSSILS RARE- FIRST TRUE LAND PLANT Information ORIGIN: This item originates from the Silurian- Wenlock Series from Shadwell Quarry. Much Wenlock, Shropshire. SIZE: Although just a small branch- it measures aprox. 2 cm long(uncurled) resting upon some matrix measuring 5.5 cm x 2.5 cm and 3 cm thick. DETAIL: Cooksonai sp. While Cooksonia had a global distribution. The type specimens mostly come from this location in Britain. They are recognised as the first land plant to have a vascular tissue and therefore a link between primitive ... morenon-vascular(bryophytes: primitive mosses and lichens) and fully vascular land plants. This was a bold step in the path of Evolution: plants had to develop tissue to support it's growth against gravity- the tissue needed to protect itself from the powerful ultra violet radiation from the sun- hydration: the tissue had to ensure it doesn't dry out in this sometimes hostile environment. Oxidation: being able to thrive in an oxidising environment. BUT. The rewards were simple: securing their energy from the sun easily and lack of competition in the seas, and little, or no real predation. Cooksonia had short(4 cm) forked stems ending in spore bearing capsules. They had no leaves. But breathed and the means for photosynthesising was done through the stems. I've seen many peacock chenille spreads over the years but I've never sen one like this where the peacock is cameoed in the center. It looks like a garden trellis entranceway. Also has the KWS mod. Which reinforces all the solder joints to make it road tough. I wish I didn't have to sell this one. But I do to pay for some other things. The pedal is on good condition with the bottom rubber removed and Velcro installed. It's also got the remnants of the green gaffers tape that AM puts on the foot switch to make it look like KWS' original pedal. The pedal tests working 100% and sounds awesome. The mouthpiece body has a couple of nicks/scratches and a little of the most superficial cosmetic imperfection. The original facing has its characteristic milling on the table and out the rails and is virtually perfect; likewise the interior is in fine original condition. The actual tip measurement is right about.092" making this a true strong 6, with the curve breaking at 40. The original box is in very good unbroken shape. No cap or ligature comes with the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is a superb player. It has a strong sound of a very reedy. Heart Shaped Candle & Crystal Box; Swedish Vase w/ Heart & True Love Mini Book
Up for sale are four darling items for individual Valentine's Day gifts OR perhaps to use together in a basket. The lovely candle is heart shaped with a creamy white base. On the sides are dried flowers and ferns. The candle has never been lit and is in perfect condition. The candle measures a little over 3" tall and is approximately 3-1/2" wide. The next item is a small vase from Sweden. I purchased this particular items when we lived there because it is just precious. The vase measures approximately 3" tall; 2-3/4" wide and 2" deep(to accommodate the heart) There is a heart protruding from the front. The third item is a mini book titled True Love and it measures approximately 4" tall and 3-1/2" wide and it is 1/2" thick. Every page is a illustration with a thought. Such as"True love increases ... moreas you give it away" True love can last a lifetime" True love is worth waiting for" Finally. The last item, my personal favorite, is a wonderful, crystal, heart shaped treasure box. This box measures approximately 3-1/2" tall and 3-1/4" wide. It stands a little under 2" high. The swirls making up the heart are like bursts of sunshine coming from your soul. When you open them, you will notice that the joining parts are scalloped. They could be used alone, or together as a crystal treasure box.
