Vintage and Massive True Temper Axe
Up for auction is a vintage True Temper axe with a very rare 4-plus pound head. It also has the ridges inside the eye. Typical of Kelly and other fine American axes. It is in very good shape for its age. And I have reprofiled it, sharpened it on a professional water cooled grinder to maintain the original temper, and hung it on a 36" premium custom made octagonal hickory handle with just about perfect grain alignment. The photos should show the overall condition. The pattern, large and deep TRUE TEMPER stamp, and the excellent fit of the octagonal handle to the head. If anything is not clear, please ask. Easton EA70x Wheelset True Used Wheels 700c
1 set of used ea70x tubular wheels. Built by Easton for larger riders or cyclocross these wheels are bomb proof. I weigh 150lbs and have used these wheels for road riding only. But never raced or cyclocrossed. They were bought new and barely used. These came on an aluminum specialized crux I bought; total weight 17.5lbs. They are extremely lightweight. I replaced them with some Williams cyclocross wheels when I bought the bike they came on. I used them with road tires on a road bike for a max of 500 miles. Road tires on wheels are not worn out, but have both popped. I bought cheaper tubulars and they didnt last; one got a bubble and popped and one seperated by the fabric backing and started leaking) Tires will need to be replaced.
