Found this Thordarsen DC/DC converter transformer in my stuff. I'm clearing out surplus and this can go. Its in the original box with the instruction sheet. Its wound with a center tapped primary for the power circuit of the transistors and a split winding for the transistor base drive. I don't know what frequency to operates at. The secondary is 300 volt center tapped rated at 200 ma with a full wave bridge rectifier. I'm sure there are other ways to use this than are shown in the instruction sheet. Nice epoxy case. DESCRIPTION: This auction is for a large toroidal power transformer that was pulled from a Mackie Tapco Juice J-2500 Pro Audio class H Power Amplifier. The amp was capable of delivering up to 2500 watts RMS into a 4 ohm load. The transformer is in clean. Excellent condition showing absolutely no signs of overheating. According to Tapco specs this transformer will draw 17.6 amps at full rated output with 115 VAC input. The toroid measures approx 6.5" wide by a shy 3" deep. It is also very heavy. This combo is truly a dream come true for DIY audio amp designers/builders. As it is right now you can plug up power to the transformer. Turn on the switch and the fans run. I measured continuity at the four large bridge rectifiers and it seems there are two separate high current windings. I don't know what the voltages are. I didn't ... morego any further. But in addition to these windings and the winding for the 12VDC source there may be an additional winding for a low current voltage source. The rectifier board has metal stand-off spacers installed. 3 Phase Toroidal Transformer from 1 KW RF Plasma Cutter ~ 30 VDC Output Voltage
3 Phase Toroidal Power Transformer Removed from RF plasma cutter. Schematic diagram at bottom I personally removed this from an operational plasma cutter. We sold the 1 KW RF amplifier last year, This transformer fed a 40 amp diode rectifier array, though based on the wire gauges on the transformer I think that rating was overkill. The output filter caps connected after the diode array were rated at 35VDC, so using 30 volts it would take 33 amps to get 1 kw of power, divide that by 3 for the three transformers and each toroidal transformer would be contributing just over 11 amps which sounds right for the wire gauge. I don't know much about 3 phase power. So I drew up the wiring diagram of this transformer. There is an extra set if wires connected to the input that went to other power circuitry. We left them on so you would easily know ... morethe input. On the diagram. I am assuming that the blue wires are centertap and the red wires the outer windings, not having a milli ohm meter I am not totally sure. I did unhook the correct wires on one toroid set to verifiy that the brown pair is separate from the others, and the red and blue wires are a set. DC 12V Electromagnet toroidal Solenoid electromagnet
This was part of a 4wd transfer case and it was used to shift a truck into 4wd electrically. It has 3 mounting studs on the back and a single wire. When +12 volts is applied to the wire and any of the studs is grounded it is energized. I tested it and it works.It becomes magnetic and lifted several pounds. I'm not sure what the max is I applied 12volts at 2 amps to it. I'm not sure how many amps it could safely take for short periods. I didn't attempt to put more than that through it. The outside diameter is just under 5.375 inches and the inside is 3.875 inches approximately. Its about 1.375 inches tall. and weighs 3 pounds

Vintage 1980's Harman Kardon HK 770 Solid-State Amplifier Twin Toroidal Power made in Japan. Unit sounds and works well when hooked up to the tuner and preamp that are being sold separately. Cosmetically a few scuffs and scratches with some finger smudges around the controls that will probably clean off. Please see photos to help judge condition. This is a very heavy and well built unit.
