Everything is in good working order. It is used. And it is a bit dirty from the shop it was in. It is in good overall conditio. Up for auction is a vintage good working condition Powerstat varible speed autotransformer. It is made by the superior electric company in Bristol conn. It is working fine. I tested it on a lathe and a light. It is a model 3pn116B. see picture# 2 for further item specifics) out side of the dirt. Scratches, dents and dings; there is a minor issue with the rubber outer casing of the electric cord. see picture#4) Where the cord enter the housing the cords outer casing is spit. The electric wires are still in good shape, there is no exposed wiring, and there is no shorts. I think this is an easy fix, But I don't think it is a neccesary fix. I believe that may be another company’s tradename and I don’t see it on this one anywhere. This is an older unit. And the one thing to note is that the single 110VAC outlet is just two prong even though the input AC cord has a ground prong. It has been tested to vary the intensity of an incandescent lamp. And seems to produce a smooth transition as you turn the knob. That is the extent of my testing and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale. ... moreNo returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price. Not including shipping costs. Just so that we are clear on that.
