I use durable indoor/outdoor enamel paint for base coating and detailed hand painting on all metal ware. I sign and date all my art work. I base coated the outside a deep rich country red and left the inside original. I replaced the wooden knob with a white porcelain one. I painted a blue rooster with white and blue wild flowers. A vine with blue berries wraps around the bottom of the container. To clean. Gently hand wash in warm soapy water(do not soak) or wipe clean with a damp cloth. It will ship at 1 pound. I am often asked why 100K. Look at my harpmicgaskets.com tricks and tips and the statement is that 100K or 250K work fine. Think of the volume control as a resistor and that is why I stay lower. This pot will"zero" out so that you can lay it down on the amp without fear of feedback. You could use this on any Shure shell with the stand hole like 520Sl. 707a or others. It also fits the JT30 deeper stand hole. The shaft can be cut to any length you need with any tool you have handy. very nice Club Brand Cast Aluminum frying pan with matching lid. Measure 6-3/4" across& 1-1/2" deep. Very clean and ready to use pan. the inside of the pan is shiny and polished smooth. The bottom of the pan is also smooth except where the logo is. It sits flat on my glass top stove- no wobble or wiggle. The pan has a"bump-out" where the handle attaches to prevent wobbling. The pan handle has a great metal loop for hanging. And there are finger grips on the bottom of it. The"Club" logo on the handle metal is on the bottom. and appears to be in mint condition. COPPER Handles-GLASS Screw Knob-20 Cup-Comet Aluminum Camping/RV Coffee Pot-VTG
The name of the pot is worn off the bottom but from the research this almost has to be a Comet pot. This has LOTS of history on and in it. It definitely has been used and definitely has lots of stories. It would take a lot of camping to put this much patina and the few dents in this 20 cup coffee p o t. What makes it a camping pot(but could be used on the stove) besides the tale tell black patina on the bottom are the copper handles instead of plastic which would melt on the camp fire. Notice how the copper handles still look really sparkling and nice. The copper and the aluminum are quite a contrast and make it a pleasant item for display as well as its practicality. ANOTHER amazing thing is that the glass screw kno b on top is in excellent condition. Oftentimes these are chipped or cracked or broken or missing altogether. This volume potentiometer or POT for short is the 100K Linear-Taper style that is best for controlled magnetic and controlled reluctance or dynamic elements or some say cartridge. I am often asked why 100K. Look at my harpmicgaskets.com tricks and tips and the statement is that 100K or 250K work fine. Think of the volume control as a resistor and that is why these work. This pot will"zero" out so that you can lay it down on the amp without fear of feedback. This is the 10 detente style that stays where you set it easily. LOOK at the last picture. Late deco - early 1950's glass and aluminum knob sets
These are one of the first generations of glass and aluminum knob sets designed for hollow core doors when they first came out in the late 1940's. Aluminum was stylish at the time and so these knobs are a combination of glass and pebbled aluminum. They include the button pop lock that was a hot feature at the time! These sets are priced individually. Some have glass knobs on both sides. Others have glass on one side and aluminum on the other. Great Vintage Goldtone Aluminum Ice Bucket Dome-shaped Has metal handle and a plastic or lucite knob on the lid. Bucket is 8" tall to top of knob. 10" tall to top of handle. There are a few light scratches& dings. There is a rubber-type ring around the top edge which has some cracks from age(see last 2 pics) There is no manufacturer's mark or name that I could find.
