Orig.1960's Madam Alexander Kins BKW 7 1/2" Meg Doll
Up for auction is a vintage 1960's Madam Alexander-Kins Meg doll from the Little Women Series. She has the Alex Mold stamped between the shoulder blades and has the triple stitch wig/hair. She has a near mint head and hair- clean. Bright face paint, working sleep eyes and hair is gorgeous with near perfect curl and ribbon intact. Her body is clean, but the legs and head will need bands replaced. The little hooks are there for the legs. She does have her complete original outfit that has no rips or tears, working snaps and nice Madam Alexander-Kins tag, but will need cleaning. This doll was purchased at a local estate sale, where she was displayed for years. When I took her off the stand, the bands for her head and legs were so dry rotted they broke.
