The plotter was used in a printing company where vinyl cutting was added to increase sales. The plotter was working when taken out of service. I did connect it to a computer and plotted to it using Flexisign Pro software just before disassembly. It worked just like it should. And I weeded the vinyl and it cut perfectly without any setting changes. It was maintained while in use. There are a few extra blades, blade holder, platen cutting strips, software for older computers, cord for connection to computer, power cord, and key for software use Design Art. Unless you have an older computer, this software will not work on newer computers. You should be able to use any type of software that sends data to a plotter. The software is a real disc straight from Roland(Good expensive software) A tech came through and serviced this Roland about 4 months ago& all was perfect. But it took a head strike& damaged 2 or 3 heads possibly. Test print in picture was after the slight head strike. Then two heads were pulled out to try& clean out to see if the cyan head needed replaced at least. Then 2 got installed backwards. So those 2 heads need replaced for sure, unless you can get them flushed out. Even if you installed 4 or 5 new print heads, this is a steal. These only have 6 printheads total. You'll end up needing new ones soon after you buy any used one anyway. Then your good for a long time! We are only offering this stuff so cheap because we are selling it for a family members business that closed down a few months ago. To restructure in to new areas. So this type printing is not needed. $13,000 was spent on it when purchased a year ago(With 3 new heads, Roland tech to calibrate it& make sure all was well with new heads& all.
