AB Dick 350 Offset Printing Press- Used for On-Press Perf/Score/Slit I never used this press to print although the previous owner did. I used it to perforate tickets and NCR forms. At the time it was the only way I could afford the ability to offer perforation. Scoring and slitting. I couldn't buy an actual perforating unit and I saved money by offering this service in-house instead of outsourcing it. And it's a lot less expensive than buying pre-perforated stock. I got this press back at the very beginning of my business. I have since purchased an actual unit to do these tasks and on larger sheets. The press has been in storage for a couple of years and I need to get it moved. It was running great when we put it away. If you want to use it as a printing press you will need to replace all the rubber rollers. I cannot and will not ... moreguarantee that it will print as I myself never used it to print. I can only go by the previous owner's words but I trust him because everything else I bought off of him works as he advertised. You can go to H. S. Boyd(hsboyd.com) and check out the products you can use. I bought the side-rules of Litho-Perf. Litho-Score, Litho-Slit, Litho-Snap and Micro-Perf. They have videos on their site to show you how to set-up. There are several ways to set-up. If you buy this you can call me and I'll give you some pointers for free. If you're within 150 miles of me I will come to your shop and teach you, also for free. You can use these rules on many presses but you will need to constantly change blankets. Adjust your pressure, etc. between printed jobs so why not buy a press that you can dedicate to finishing processes and save time and money. Spare parts collection for ATF Chief 117 offset press
For sale is a set of small parts that I removed from an ATF Chief 117 offset press. The press had seen its last days and was sold for scrap(alas) But most of the small parts were fine, so I saved all of them to sell to some hapless soul burdened with the necessity of repairing an old Chief. This is an almost complete, but NOT COMPLETE, set of parts. All of the washers are in one bag, all the bolts are in another, and so forth, but they aren't separated or categorized by part number. Here are a few things that I can say for certain are included in the sale: 2 complete gripper assemblies(chain drive) 1 dozen feather fingers. 2 bigfoot vacuum feet. 2 ink head knobs. all of the"oddball" parts that could be removed without being damaged. I scrapped all the damaged parts. So everything you get is in decent shape. Please see photos ... moreto get more of an idea of what's included. Everything in the photos will be packed in a large flat rate box for you. Just one new gripper assembly would cost you more than this whole box. If you don't mind digging around a little bit. It takes up a lot less space than a parts press. I'm starting the bidding at $50, otherwise I might as well hold onto them.
