For sale is an antique set of Candle Wick Trimmer& Snuffer Scissors. These are silver plated and have what makes me think of a Gothic type of design- big& heavy looking. But one site hints that they may be Georgian. Anyway, there are makers marks inside the"Well" I am guessing that this pair of scissors are at least 100& possibly up to 150 years old& their joints are a little loose. The pivot point moves around a bit, as do the two legs at the finger loops. Otherwise, the scissors movement is good and the Silverplate is still in good condition.
