Homer Laughlin introduced the Rivera line of dinnerware in 1938 as a lighter weight. Less expensive version of its popular Fiesta line. It was sold primarily through the G.C. Murphy 5&10 stores. It came in four basic colors- yellow, green, mauve blue and red and a harder-to-find ivory color which replaced red during WW II. It features a scalloped edge and was based on HLC's earlier Century line of dinnerware. Riviera items are not marked. I was told this is an older. Pre-depression Victorian Tumbler made by U.S. Glass Co. That would put it around late 1890's to 1900( It glows brightly under the black light and is thick and well-made with floral, berries, and leaves design around the perimeter and includes studded jewel like decorations as well. This glass produces clicks on my SBM-20 Geiger Counter. No cracks, or major scratches. It only shows minor signs of use. There is a very minor chip in the rim, visible in the final blacklight and closeup regular lighted picture. The chip is not deep or sharp. I am also listing other vaseline and custard glass. Old Plantation Tumbler. This tumbler was made during the 1950's by Libbey Glass. It is white frosted glass with a decal of ladies& gentlemen dancing at"The Ball" The decal is black and white with pink highlights. Extremely RARE Pacific Potteries Specimen. Early California Pottery. I have done research for several years on this piece and have not been able to find anything like it elsewhere. Hand Painted under glaze and signed"M.T: near the Pacific Made in USA mark. Also marked X45 for the mold. Which is also rare. This tumbler is a bit more fluted than the ringed hostessware pieces and smooth on the outside. Measures 4-1/8" tall, approx. base is about 2-1/4" diameter and rim/ top is about 3-1/4" diameter. The floral pattern at the top is yellow, brown, tan and green. Much crazing but no other flaws. No chips, no cracks, no fleabites. If you are a Pacific or Bauer Pottery collector, this may be one you need to add to your collection!

This is an Early Pattern Cranberry Glass Blown Moulded Table Tumbler. It stands 4" tall. Measures 2-5/8" across the top and holds 8 ounces when full. The pattern shows moulded even. Vertical protruding columns around the outside below a 1/2" smooth area under the rim. It has a polished pontil. There is a small. Flat flake and a couple of tiny rough spots just inside the rim and an minor cloudy ring in the base. These do not affect the looks or use of the piece. Otherwise. There are no further chips or cloudiness and no cracks or scratches. There are lots of tiny bubbles in the glass, typical of early glass production. From 1991 to 1999. This is a vintage heavy cased amethyst cut to clear glass or crystal tumbler. It stands 4-1/8" tall and is 2.5" in diameter at the top edge. This has six spire shaped geometric cut designs along the bottom. And each spire has a series of circles rising vertically between. The top edge of the glass has half circle cut designs. I see four tiny fleabites, one on the top edge and three on the bottom, each about the size of a sesame seed or smaller. Two along the bottom edge extend to a small inner bruise.
