The interior frame is signed"Whiting and Davis" soldered mesh" at one end. At the other end are the words"German Silver" and the number"3" Please see photos. The bag alone measures 6.5 x 5. With the metal link strap it measures 15 x 3. This is a one of a kind piece as well as being a great investment that will continue to appreciate in value over time. We believe it to be German in origin made during the 1800's.
