Up for sale is a nice stainless steel safety can by Eagle MFG. Co. Wellsburg. W. VA. Made in U.S.A. no dents may show some light wear from normal use. Galvanized Crowd Control Fencing - 33 Sections Classic Blockader Steel Barricade
33 sections of genuine Classic Blockader Interlocking Steel Barricade fencing from the Tamis Corporation. We purchased these to control the crowd at West Virginia's largest single day festival( Now that the Bridge Day Commission wants to fingerprint every BASE jumper. Rappeller, and vendor this year, we have decided to stop organizing all parachuting activities at this event and sell all company assets. This fencing was used for six hours once a year since 2009. After that. It was loaded onto a Budget rental truck and moved to my covered storage facility where it sat all year. So, this fencing has seen around 36 hours of actual use. Fencing is in great shape with only some minor scratches and paint transfer from other parts used at the event. A few sections contain very small areas of rust as it rained one or two years at Bridge Day, ... morealthough each unit is galvanized. Overall, the fencing is in great condition and hardly used. One problem we noticed after the first year was stacking these sections of fencing. They didn't lay flat due to the flat base option(feet) pointing perpendicular to the plane of the fencing itself. So. Being a mechanical engineer, I had my local machine shop drill a 2nd set of holes in the feet so we could rotate them 90 degrees and lock into place using a lynch pin. Now, all fencing lays flat and stacks perfectly. All you have to do is quickly release the lynch pin, rotate the leg 90 degrees and insert the lynch pin. It takes around 10 seconds for each leg to perform this action. Barriers made of thick 16-gauge tubing, Hooks ensure a positive interlocking of barricades. Interlocking can also occur at 90 degree angles. Hooks and uprights inserted into frame prior to welding, Hot dip galvanization to prevent corrosion, Each section is around 6.5 feet wide and 43" tall, Main tubing is around 1.5" in diameter.
