Years ago my Dad bought an old Signal delivery fuel truck& converted it into a gas tank for our farm equipment. I'm sad to say that recently it was replaced with a brand new standing gas tank& shipped to the metal yard as scrap metal. I did manage to salvage the old domes. Vintage miniature metal mosque from Istanbul. Turkey, that looks very much like the Buyuk Majidiye Mosque. This replica is made of brass and nickel on a black metal base, and has an inscription in Turkish on the bottom step. The mosque has two minarets on each side of the single large dome which is topped by a brass crescent. The souvenir building stands 6.5" tall to the top of the minarets on a 6" square base. The mosque is in very good shape with no noticeable cracks, dents or missing pieces. A beautiful work of metal craftsmanship from Istanbul, and a fine souvenir building to add to your collection. Description: Vintage sterling silver bracelet by Feris with a design of green stones atop domes. And half-round tube links between the dome shapes. The wearable length of this bracelet is 7-1/4 inches. The stones in their bezel measure 1/4 inch across. The domes measure 9/16 inch across. This bracelet weighs 33.2 grams. On the back it is marked feris with a Taxco workshop mark and 925 for sterling silver. I do not know much about this artist but I have had their pieces before and they are always very good design and construction and have a good sturdy weight to them.
