Condition: Used Great vintage 5 piece lot of wooden and brass crowd control barrier stanchion posts. This is a great older set that I picked up at a local estate. Someone previously painted the brass caps gold. The actual caps are brass. But I believe it's possible that the poles may be copper, they are either copper or brass. There are some dents in dings in some of the post caps, as you can see in the pictures. One of the tees has been slightly bent and will need bent back or possibly an adjustment made to the wood post used to connect the pieces. One of the posts stands slightly taller than the others, at 40 3/4" high. The other posts are approximately 38 1/2" high The measurements of the caps are approximately 3 3/8" ... morehigh, 2 1/8" wide at the side tee openings, and 2 1/8" wide across the tee that sits on the post. These are vintage Theater Crowd Control Barriers. These have the rope ends. But no ropes. These have the bases, but not the weights. The posts do have a screw bottom that would screw into a weight for the base. Please see photos) Measurements: These measure approx. 38" tall in total. The bases are approx. 11" in diameter with the center holes being 2" in diameter. The round balls on top are approx. 4 1/2" x 3" in diameter. The brass rope ends are approx. 4 1/2" long by 1 1/2" in diameter. Condition: These are in very good condition. There are no dents or cracks in the brass. Except on 2 of the bases there is some top cracking. These are nice and heavy, ... morehowever, do not have the weights for the bases. These could use a good polishing. You are bidding on a lot of 7 crowd control/ barrier stanchions(with bases and weights) and also including 5 red vinyl stanchion ropes with hardware. These are in used condition. Please look at the photos closely to see the various marks and scratches on the stanchions. The one pictured with the dent is also a little loose in the base. I have not tried to tighten it down so it might be a simple fix. It appears that someone has painted the bases in the past. With a little metal spray paint these would look like new. These include the weights and weigh approximately 28lbs each. The weights. As pictured above, have some rust on them. The other portions of the stanchions do not have any visible rust.
