Ok. First off I want to say that this has been a very great pump. Never had issues with this. It has always pulled excellent microns. And held very deep vacuums. The reason I am selling it is I have purchased 2 jb pumps that are bigger than this one due to the size of equipment I am working with. This pump is more geared for your typical residential work. It can go bigger but it may require longer time to get below 500 microns. On this pump there is a bit of residue of dirt and oil. I cleaned it up some but if you want to take it further it would clean up pretty nice. But it's a tool right and it doesn't need to be a beauty queen to get the job done. I have cared for it very well. Changed oil after every use while the pump was still warm. Never abused or needed any repairs. This pump has a lot more life in it and it will be a good ... moreinvestment for any service tech. What is unique about this specific pump is that I have added brass fittings on the top to accommodate large hoses. So that you can pull it down more rapidly. And also provides a incredible seal on the unit if you are using standard hoses. This unit didn't get much use and mostly sat on a shelf in the shop. But I would be very glad to answer any questions either technical or anything else I can help with. I'm going to list it very low and no reserve. It's time to clean the shop out and this lady needs a new home.Oh and one more thing. I needed it to have a longer cord than the standard one it came with so I replaced it and wired it in. If you don't need a longer cord one could very easily be wired in the back has a easy remove access panel.
