This is a SUPERIOR PNEUMATICS MFG. HEAVEY DUTY" lock hammer. Primary function of the tool is to setting down or closing a pittsburgh lock seam. Guide helps to align tool to the corner of ductwork. I tryed it on the small length of pittsburgh lock formed sheet metal. Closes it quick and easy. Definite time saver over manual hammering. This could also be used as a planishing hammer with the guide removed. The trigger has a metal strip extension that is tack welded on it(first& last picture shows) Could be ground off if needed. Miller Falls Pittsburgh Roll Lock Former Model C Handheld
This is for a Miller Falls Pittsburgh roll lock former used to make Pittsburgh lock forms for ducting in HVAC. I think they quit making these back in the early 80's. I don't see them that often but they are handy to have if your in the HVAC business. Its been plugged in and tested. Its a model C and does up to 18 gauge.
