Rotary Vacuum Pump - Industrial Grade - 110V - Use for AC repair & General Use
This is a profession grade rotary vacuum pump. I bought this many years ago for servicing the air conditioning in the car that I owned. It was used only about a half dozen times. And was never used in a any kind of professional business. It is in perfect working condition. It easily pumped down an A/C system to about 27/ 28Hg and held it there for the required time with ease. The unit is compact but heavy- weighing about 25 lbs. It has a heavy duty handle which makes carrying and placing the unit easy. The unit is almost silent when running making it perfect in uses other than A/C where vacuum is required. I bought this from an professional A/C tool store. The box has the make ATD Tool Corp in St. Louis. But the vacuum pump has no brand name on it and I no longer have the manual(if it every had one) The unit was stored with both the intake ... moreand exhaust capped to prevent air from entering. Be sure to remove the exhaust cap when using the unit- it is the same color as the metal body. The input fit my standard A/C hose manifold.
