RDN Servo Fly Knife Extrusion Cutter - Plastic, Flyknife, RDN, Con Air
This is an RDN rotary fly knife cutter. It is a 1993 model and was originally a clutch-brake unit. Bust has been retrofitted with an Emerson 2.5 hp Servo drive and motor that is set up with a 2:1 reduction for high torque. It has also been upgraded with an Allen Bradley PLC and a color Red Lion touchscreen controller. The cutter uses a 3 1/4" bushing and will cut up to a 3" part. It has storage below and it comes with one set of bushings. This unit requires 230v three phase power to operate. The unit has a length sensor that counts exact length as it is rolling. Just set the length in the touchscreen(or set the time if in time mode) The touch screen has a part totalizing counter and also a page to view the status of the drive.
