If you are not familiar with Parafilm grafting tape. It is a waxy tape that sticks well to itself. A small piece can be stretched and wrapped around a graft very quickly with impressive results. It holds the graft firm and keeps water and bugs out. Buds will push straight through the tape as they grow and it breaks down on its own as the tree grows so there is no need to cut the tape away. This tape is used in nurseries all over the world and most nurserymen swear by it. We graft and bud over 3000 trees a year and it's the only tape we use!
