Hello Bidders, I bought this HVX-200P in late 2009 off eBay for around $3100(camera alone with bag/batteries) as a producer for a few music videos and films. It probably had around 120 hours on it at the time I purchased it and since then it now has 196 hours on the clock. Still plenty of life in it. I never used it much and it was basically stored in/out for 4 years in a clean safe place sleeping. I've tested everything on it. Everything appears to work fine. I've used it for P2 Cards. FS 100gig drive storing, DV tapes, ex, AV setup for monitors. It is being sold as is but I'd highly recommend what most eBay/resellers won't recommend to scare you away is to give it a tuneup cleaning for $250 at any Panasonic qualified repair location. If this scares you away that's fine. It is around 7 years old and it will do quite fine ... morewithout cleaning the lens or inside parts but if you want your equipment to last and be top-notch then cleaning the lens every few years just like a normal high-grade camera is a wise thing to do. For the price I'm listing it at you are getting it well below any used retail price with the entire bundle I'm offering with it. I don't film much and feel it would be better sold and used then die in its case. So if you really want a badass camera and you have done your research on the HVX-200 then you know it offers a real camcorder and better stabilization then any SLR camera trying to mimic what a real filmmaking device can do. There are pro's and con's to camcorders and SLR's. You just need to weigh what's right for you. Currently I only have one good battery. You will need to purchase a new set of batteries. There are plenty on ebay. Optional: $250 lens/internal cleaning for camera. It's up to you but I would if I was going to film another 250 more hours. The battery still has some life left but it is not the correct size. You have to hold the battery down with a finger to close the battery door but new batteries are still available on eBay for $11. One nut to fasten sprocket is missing from crankshaft. The fork stem was bent and repaired. The stem was heated above the race and the stem was pulled into line. I only ship to the united states shipping policy. i ship everyday monday thru friday around 6 in the afternoon using either first class or priority mail as indicated in the listing. if your item is purchased before that time it will be shipped the same day.
