I live out in the country and I used it here at the house quite a bit. I had a gig in Tulsa and took the unit in to use it. Well I got quite a bit of static and it was picking up a signal even when the transmitter was off. The next day I call Musician's Friend and they said that since I had had it for over a 30 days I couldn't return it. Well I called AKG to find out what was going on and they told me that this frequency was in use and wouldn't work within 70 miles of Tulsa.
